History

1920 - USSR gives Pechenga (Petsamo) area to Finland as a result Soviet-Finish war.
1935 - founded by Inetrnational Canadian Nikel Company (in 1934 Finish goverment gave Pechenga to concession INKO).
1944 Pechenga area goes back to USSR as a result of 2-nd world war.
1945 - the Pechenga district with the center in settlement Nickel is formed.
The nikel factory have been practically destroyed during the Second world war.
1946 - restoration of manufacture.
